Stele featured on the cover pages of "Arts" and "China Oil Painting," was accessioned by the China Association of Fine Arts and is on permanent display at the central government compound.
- 1992: Girl, oil on canvas, was selected for both the "Beijing International Oil Painting Exhibition" and "Contemporary Chinese Oil Painting Exhibition" in Singapore. This piece of work is in a private collection in Singapore.
1994: Moer, oil on canvas, won the grand prize at "The Second China Oil Painting Exhibition" and was collected by an Indonesian mining industrialist.
Moer was featured in "The Portrait of Chinese Oil Painting in the Last Hundred Years," "China Oil Painting," "China Arts," "Fine Arts" and the US magazine "Art News".
Silver Hairpin, oil on canvas, was selected for "Contemporary Chinese Fine Arts" road show in Japan and printed on the road show posters, admission tickets and show album. This piece of work, in a Japanese private collection, was featured in Taiwan "Artists" and "Best of Contemporary Oil Paintings."
Awaken, oil on canvas, was on display at Hong Kong's "Pacific Region International Art Exhibition" and purchased by a Hong Kong private collector.
Empty Bottle, oil on canvas, is placed in a prominent Canadian collection.
1995: Red Gown, oil on canvas, was chosen for "Contemporary Chinese Oil Paintings Exhibition" in Los Angeles. The exhibition was jointly sponsored by the LA Times and The Cooper Union. This piece was the cover of "Fine Arts" and is in a private collection.
Waner, oil on canvas, was selected for the same exhibition and was placed in a private collection.
Xuan, oil on canvas, was chosen for "The 8th Graduate Class Oil Painting Exhibition of Central Academy of Fine Arts" and won the Graduation Excellence Prize.
Xuan was also featured in the Academy's "Studio Album of the Academy" and "Studio of World Fine Arts."
Qi, oil on canvas, was chosen for the same exhibition.
- 1998: Girl in Red Dress, oil on canvas, was featured in "Selection of China Oil Paintings."
1999: Autumn Leaf and Fan, both oil on canvas, were selected for "China Figurative Portrait Oil Paintings" at Art House Gallery in Calfiornia, USA and are in private collections.
A monograph on Lu's paintings was published by Guangxi Fine Arts Publishing House. To be selected as the subject of one of these monographs is a highly coveted honor few artists receive.
A solo exhibition for Lu Jian Jun took place at CAG Art Gallery in the San Francisco Bay Area. All 18 paintings Lu brought from China were sold at the first day of the exhibition, a record for this 20-year-old gallery. The event was prominently featured in local media.
